Are LAO Care natural shampoos made in France?

Much more than that. LAO has worked across the entire value chain to ensure that as many ingredients as possible come from France.

In addition, the formula was created in France and production is done in France, in Brittany!

Why did you choose a liquid shampoo format?

After conducting market research and understanding the components and manufacturing methods of solid shampoos, the product development team decided to create a liquid shampoo, in line with our values.

Why did you choose aluminum for your bottles?

Aluminum is a lightweight metal that protects the formula from UV rays and is fully recyclable, with over 97% of the product recycled in France (according to Citéo). Its lightness also reduces pollution during transport!
We are now working on refills so you can keep your bottle as long as possible.

Are your products tested on animals?

In accordance with the law (and it is part of our values), our shampoos and treatments are obviously not tested on animals.

Your pump is plastic!

The pump is essential because it helps prevent waste, as the bottle is rigid and cannot be squeezed.

Pumps are not recyclable in the conventional network because they are very complex systems made up of many components.

However, we suggest you keep them for other uses. Our priority going forward: developing refills!

How long does a 200ml LAO Care shampoo last?

With an average of 2 shampoos per week and 2-3 pumps per shampoo, it will last you on average 2 to 3 months depending on the thickness and length of your hair.


Remember that shampoo is meant to be used on the scalp in particular; it's not always necessary to systematically apply it to the lengths. It's when you rinse your shampoo that the product will flow down the ends, and that will be enough to wash them.

My roots tend to be oily but my lengths are dry. Which LAO Care shampoo should I choose?

To purify your roots, LAO recommends the purifying nettle cleansing treatment. You can use it alternately with the hemp cleansing treatment, which will provide an extra dose of care to your lengths thanks to the oil it contains.

Ideally, complete your washing routine with a conditioner or a mask, like the Cameline Mask, to coat the hair fiber!

Are your treatments suitable for pregnant women?

Nettle cleansing cream is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women due to its high concentration of nettle hydrosol. Toxicologists' opinions differ on this point because it is a rinse-off product, but we advise against it as a precaution.

The hemp wash and conditioner do not have any contraindications but have not been specifically tested on a dedicated panel.

What should I do if I have a problem with your products?

Changing cosmetic products, especially shampoos, can cause various reactions on your skin or hair.

What are your delivery times?

For any order placed from Monday to Friday, the order will be shipped the next day, or even the same day.
Orders placed from Friday after 1 p.m. to Sunday evening will be shipped the following Monday.

For any order placed on public holidays, the order will be shipped the following business day.

One of my treatments arrived damaged, what should I do?

In case of a problem regarding the condition of a product, please take a photo of the problem and send it to us at hello@lao-care.com as soon as possible, i.e. within 2 working days after delivery.

What should I do if I have a problem with the delivery of my order?

In the event of a problem with the carrier and/or the delivery of your package, please notify us within two weeks of placing your order. After this period, no claims will be accepted.

I made a mistake, can I change my order?

As packages are shipped the day or the day after your order (excluding weekends and working days), we cannot guarantee that any changes will be taken into account after validation and we cannot therefore be held responsible for missing information.
